  1. MightyMontana - I just bought an 86 sunder and brought it back to taos, nm where I live (7500 ft) and am wanting like you to find out more details about the o/d bypass. It is in the shop now and the mechanic is also wanting to know more actual details about 'how' to do this process. Did you ever find out anything specific to this post as to how or did you figure it out yourself? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!
  2. Powdrhound.... I have an 86 sunrader that I am in the process of trying to figure out which way to go regarding the o/d bypass...I live in Taos, NM at 7500 ft so O/d is needed even just on the many flat, straight roads here. But everything you described is what happened to me as well when I recently transported my new lil rv here....lots of clicking from the relay switch and then since then no o/d. The mechanic is wondering exactly what you asked....where is the relay and what/where picks up the elevation change? Can you tell me more about what you did or how to exactly bypass? Thanks so much....
  3. Please help two newbies...we have a 86 toyota sunder....our breaker panel has 3 main switches: Main, H2O and AC. When do we turn these off and/or on? For instance do you turn these on when plugged into 120? Also - there is an off/on switch on the water heater...does this need to be turned on to light it? Have never seen an off/on switch on a water heater yet. Thanks!!!
