  1. I tried the fan switch up grade in link and fried my circuit board. I wired switch like instructions said & looked online to make sure was right..
Turns out my circuit board cannot be used for reverse fan motor (talking to tech rep at Fantastic fan)

the good news is they are sending me out a new circuit board/reverse fan switch & a complete upgrade kit for FREE I only had to pay $13 shipping.
The sales rep on phone was Fantastic in every way she went the extra mile and talked to tech service man to get the right circuit board & reverse switch that will work with my fan (my circuit board is no longer made)
This is what you call Great Customer Service!!!! Even when I fried the board myself..No question where asked how or what happened.. Just great customer service to fix problem at no cost to me!!
I'm sooo happy they where able to help me out so I don't have a paper weight for a fan!!

I recommend to everyone to buy their products they stand by their product 100%..

  2. theirs only a few camp sites that can handle a trailer in San Diego

Green Valley has only 4/5 sites

Palomar Mnt. has about 6/8 sites

Lake Jennings has a lot of sites

your going to need 2 small generators hocked up in parallel to run your trailer theirs not a lot of full hock up sites

I like the tent idea that's how we camped after we outgrew our motorhome parents slept in rv me and brothers slept in tent

plus you have the new San Diego city rv zoning laws on where you can park rv/trailer (not sure about El Cajon zone laws)

  3. anyone have a good link for 9ft bag awnings

I have googled & ebay I just want to see what others bought

I replaced A&E awning legs year and they broke off again thinking the best thing to do is part out awning and buy a new bag awning

legs alone $45x2 plus $15 shipping and trying to fix/replace rafter arms is just a waist of money....

    thanks

    Steve

  4. bring a friend to help

look under bed above cab for water damage

look for anything sagging pealing or water stains

have owner plug in rv for power and have him have frig cold (takes a couple hours)

look at the tire date (DOT) 6-7 years replace..

  5. Every time I go to San Diego/Mission Bay I can find 2 Toy-Rv soaking up the sun

I have 1 right down the street that comes from AZ every year..

two of my Neighbors are ready to purchase ones this fall (they know wrong time to buy right now)

I gave 1 a tour today of mine and what he should look for as far as what can go wrong.....

    We love our Toys!!!!

  6. Finally got windshield leak fix

would leak into cab every time it rained

installed new windshield & new rubber trim

$175 not a bad price and I'm happy (as long as it don't leak anymore

you can see how rusted windshield frame was holes every where in pics..

    did quick fix.

windshield shop glued up holes let it dry then used extra glue for installing new windshield & new rubber trim..

(of course they broke the old windshield its all about the $$$)

should be good now.. if not will go from inside cab and use some 3m 5200 on rust holes....
