I have a Dometic refrigerator RM 2400, 87 Dolphin, The temp knob that goes all the way to back of refrig is broke, it must be a part plastic on the end where it go into a valve? for it will not reach. How to get at it? Anyone know where to get the part/replacement? It looks like the two knobs which is the gas and elect turn on and temp in front, tried to take out, would only come out one inch in front. Do I have to take it out of wall and how do I do it. Art Thanks for your help been on trip and busy, here is my update, have owner man. found out that it is idem #60 p/n 2007471002, first rv store said $60 will order, to install $300 labor, also new ref for only $900 on sale,next rv place, I order replacement part Shaft t-stat. #-4-6-760 for $25 total and now have and buddy said will show me if needed. Next will try to take out broken shaft from front. W/A God Bless

Thanks John, On the Scratch, Do I cut out the part that hanging down or slit it? How do I hold it up? Use screws ?Art
