  1. 5467 mile trip from Chicago all over Rockies into Canada and back, FULLY loaded 2 Adults + 2 Kids and a hitch mounted rack with #300 + lbs with the generator and inflatable 4 man boat/engine. Average 11.57 MPG Fuel $1,722 $.324/mile $3.749/gal average 173.5 miles / Tank
  2. What PSI do you keep your airbags at? WOW - Sorry for the bad spelling in the title. I hate the Iphone keyboard!
  3. So bummed, we are just going to miss this Toyin. We cant make it up there till 6/27. We will be in Friday Harbor 25-26. Maybe we will see some of you guys at the Ferry(s)!
  4. Keep em coming I have added a LOT of what you guys have stated. THANKS!
  5. Finalized the trip plans, looks like we are going to miss the Vancouver Island Toy in by 1 DAY!!! If anyone is staying over, we can see you there. In any event, here is our trip route. I have pointed out some of the more notable points of intrest, but if anyone has anything notable to see along the way, PLEASE SPEAK UP, we would love to see or do anything interesting in route. Especially on the Canada portion. Thanks,
  6. The wiring diagram was EXACTLY what I needed. Hooked it right up and it works PERFECTLY. THAnks! Now on to the next project, I am hanging a new 22" LED TV. Gawd I LOVE this hobby!
  7. I ended up finding a Honda EU3000IS. It is sooo super quiet! Now I just wish it would fit in the outside storage! Guess I will be chaining it to the bumper rack. I think I am going to hide it in a home made box so people dont know its a generator. Did I mention how quiet it is?
  8. My wife now knows me as a masterful FUSE BREAKER!!!! In any event, I aquired a Maxx Air fan (it came on the MH I bought) although it was missing the inline fuse so of course it couldnt be tested at purchase! Long story short, I replaced the fuse but it seems its wired wrong, the inline fuse is great, the EXHAUST part of the switch of the fan works flawlessly. But If i switch it to intake (Reverses the fan direction) it POPS the main 15Amp fuse at the junction box. Something has to be wired wrong. I only have 4 wires coming to the switch. I have found the (2) house wires and the (2) wires f/from FAN. Which ones do I hook up to which area in the switch???? This is the picture BEFORE I started messing with it. And this is the fan I have installed (http://www.maxxair.com/turbo-maxx.html) problem is that this is a NEWER switch, mine is much older. I just have the toggle switch for EXHAUST OFF INTAKE and the Nob on the right for SPEED.
  9. Want to get a generator for some boondocking. Any tips, tricks or things to look for when buying one? I am looking for an aftermarket one I can set along side MH with an extension cord so its quieter. (As I am told its kind of a big deal to try to put an Onan in there). 1991 Winnebago Toyota Warrior 21'
