" Rolling resistance has been reduced resulting in a reduction in fuel consumption by an incredible 13%! Also, the RA18 will do 12% more mileage than the Hankook RA08 it replaces." Yes, I find it incredible too! A 13% reduction in rolling resistance perhaps, but rolling resistance is but a small part of the fuel consumption equation. Aero drag is the biggie!! I've no idea what the difference is between "reduction in fuel consumption" and "more mileage". Sounds like marketing hype from someone who couldn't explain the difference either.

Perhaps not, but I'll just assume that ST tires are marked 'Trailer Use Only' (and seem to sell for less) as reason enough to look for tires that aren't.

Just looked on the Yahoo Lesharo Group and this is one that they talk about. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=Radial+857 Yes, I know that Tirerack lists them as 'Trailer Only'. No idea why, I don't think anyone else does so and they're not marked ST205/75R14 http://www.kumhousa.com/tire/category/truck-suv/7EAB87AD-62DC-4D82-897E-E59335DE416C " For commercial light truck, transporter, van and trailer. I'd run these before a trailer tire. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=Grabber+AT+2&partnum=785QR4GRAT2OWL&GCID=C13674x012-tire&KEYWORD=tires.jsp_General_Grabber_AT_2_Tire&code=yes

Give the engine a good steam clean or pressure wash then with a can of brake cleaner in the area where it's leaking. Powder it down with baby powder from Dollarama and then run the engine for a while. The baby powder should make it pretty easy to spot where the leak originates. If not, at least your engine will smell nice!

Those are nominally the width of a 215 tire. Are you sure they're not too wide for a dually application? They're also only rated for 1520lb @ 50psig, less that a 185R14 LR C (1600lb @ 50psig).

So if some mechanic installed a cam in your car even though you'd said 'No Thanks' repeatedly and as a result your gas consumption increased and the CEL came on, you'd be fine with you having to reprogram the ECU to fix it? I doubt it (though I suspect you'll say yes anyway). -
Your tire size choices are:- 185R14, 195R14 & 195/75R14 in either Load Range 'C' or 'D'. Some might try to sell you an ST185R14. No good because the 'ST' indicates a tire for Trailer Service Only. And also refuse a 185R14 that isn't Load Range 'C' (minimum) or 'D'. They do exist, if you have deep pockets and know where to look for them. https://www.cokertire.com/catalogsearch/result/?header_year=1967&header_make=MERCEDES&header_model=250&q=185R14

Tire Monkeys are (generally) idiots. They think if they can't find it in their computer that it doesn't exist.

I don't have one to measure for you but if you look at the photo below of the Dolphin 400 and compare (eyeball) compared to the 48" (50"?) bunk width, you'll see it's not very big at all! 48" max, I'd guess. I can't even see it being comfortable for more than one to sit and eat at. But this is only a guess, since I've never been in one.
