  1. I have the Yokohama Y356 tires D load rated. The tire reads single load 1850 lb. dual load 1765 lb. at 65 psi cold. Funny I would have thought dual would have carried more load than a single.
  2. When I went to look for tires no store in town had or could order any proper spec tires, although a few tried to sell me trailer tires which are not intended for passenger cars.I have heard of people that run trailer tires but I figured if was already forking out for a set why go cheap. I found Tirerack.com had them and was happy with their service. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?width=185%2F&ratio=80&diameter=14&x=10&y=3
  3. Check to make sure you have the proper D load rated tires first. I have the Yokohama Y356 tires and run 55 psi in the front and 65 psi in the rear.
  4. I have been looking to add one too. There are a few good site that sell 12v TVs. Some also have a built in DVD player. http://www.12volt-travel.com/12-volt-televisions-c-684.html http://www.truckers-store.com/12volt-tv/
  5. The nada prices are low. I looked up my 1992 Warrior and it showed $5,475-$6,643 for a value, but $8,000-$12,000 would be more accurate.
  6. Here is a link to the nada price guide for National built Toys: http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-25-38-5692-0-0-0&l=1&w=25&p=38&f=5694&gc=RV&gtc=MH&m=0258&y=1988&ml=N
  7. Wow hate to hear that. I wish you a speedy recovery.
  8. Actually I could have traded the VW for 2 or 3 Toyota MH.I guess I will have to find something to do with the extra money now that I don't have the VW to repair all the time:) I just returned from my first trip 1,000 miles and not a hiccup. I'll take Toyota RELIABILITY over VW farfegnugen any day!
  9. Well it was a love hate relationship, but my bank account hated it more than I loved it in the end.Still there is nothing like the feeling of driving the Westy sitting above the front tire.I had a 1977 years ago and figured I would get the most reliable one I could find.Found a 1986 with a Subaru 2.5 conversion every system professionally rebuilt or replaced window out paint job it was beautiful!Broke down on the way home, then slung a rod taking my son to school.I was afraid to drive around the block! Here are some pictures http://picasaweb.google.com/teasiaannboone

  11. I just picked one up at Walmart that has a 6" hose with double ends for checking the pressure on the rear dualies it reads up to 100 psi.
  12. 1992 Winnebago Warrior DL Mobile Alabama I sold my VW Westy on Sunday and found the Warrior on Tuesday! It is in great shape and has 47,000 miles on it. Has all original paper work including the Winnebago cassette that came with it. Thanks to everybody here for their help.
  13. Do the Timbrens provide any lift to the rear or just stability?
  14. Just wondering how the Toyota motor homes handle off road.Notmud ridding or rock climbing but on dirt roads and park roads found inparks out west ect. I am more interested in boon docking than staying in RV parks.I know that some 4x4 versions were made but they seem hard to come by and expensive. What upgrades to a 2wd could be made to improve the off road performance, are there any off road BFG type tires that will work on the dualy set up on rear.Any of your suggestion or real world experience would be appreciated.
