  1. I, too, have to say WOW. Thanks for including the pics. I am as scared as ever now to open the walls and ceiling. I think I'd be much obliged to raise the ceiling. Are you going to keep the same floor plan, or are you going take this chance to change it up? For myself personally, I don't need the couch... And I hate the placement of my fridge. Keep up the good work!
  2. Have any of you taken (and posted) any pictures of what it looks like once you open up the walls? Is there a certain procedure/order of operation, i.e. take apart the inside, then the outside; or vice versa? Seems on the inside it would be neccessary take out the cabinets to change out ceiling. My Dolphin is begining to have issues with keeping the water out, but knowing myself, I tend to go overboard without a clear plan... right now the plan in my head would have me raising the roof a couple of inches! Too bad it's not a Rader (cus of the fiberglass), the other gentleman's (Baja's, I believe) looked like I might just be able to follow suite, not to mention his mods look quite fun. Thanks -Doug
  3. Hey guys, My '83 Dolphin isn't quite at this point, but probably isn't far behind, as there seems to be non stop rain here in NC, if not, then it is too cold to redo the roof. Needless to say the leaks are becoming more evident. I live in mine full time, so I'd have to wait a couple of months before I began a project like this, not to mention invest in a tent for me and the dog. I'm itching to start tearing things apart though. Seems it'd be a good chance to rearrange a few things. I have been going over a lot of the threads and there are some great ideas! I look forward to all of your suggestions, especially on this thread. Doug
