Thanks Fred. It doesn't look like the foolie, why does it have the outer rim of bolts? Pic of an obvious foolie attached. I also ran this vin on the NHTSA database and NO recalls were reported back (JT5RN55D7F01373310). So I'm a bit perplexed here.

I think I've managed to stumble across a super rare improved 5 lug rear axle found on some 86-87 models (the one in question happens to be on 86). Can anyone confirm based on these photos? Based on the FAQ, I believe that outer ring of bolts gives it away. And, is this super rare beefed up 5-lug a true full floating 1 ton? Or is it just an in-between? Are they still dangerous? I know this would have have been post-recall right so I can't imagine there would have been any issues with it/
