Jdemaris maybe you are on to something. I've been interested in taking a Sunrader camper and placing it on a more modern domestic 4x4 extra cab truck. Does anyone have measurements from the rear of truck cab to the rear of a 18' sunrader camper and measurements from the rear of truck cab to the center of rear wheel? I think the Sunrader shell may have changed sizes at some point ('86)? Thanks for the help.

Were there ever any newer toyota rv's made with the extra cab chassis? I've seen the few older extra cab sunrader 4x4's out there but wondering if any newer ('89-'94) models exist? Would be a great place for my young kids to sit. Thought someone woud know on here, thanks for the info.

I'm looking at buying a later model Odyssey RV '88-'91, any advise? I like the floorplan and the V6 engine, seems like most come with auto's instead of 5 spds, which is fine. Anything else to look for that is specific to the maker/brand? Do some of these come with a single rear axle instead of the duallie? If so, is there any benfit/disadvantage of this setup. I think it is a full 1 ton front and rear axle, correct? Has anyone had any leak problems or anything else I should look into? Thanks a bunch for the help.
