  1. I'm very familiar with the Coachmen Caper. They are sweet little rigs. That engine was also used on big vehicles like dump trucks and has lots of torque for off roading. Sweet restoration. This is a 4x4 upgrade but there was also another vehicle in the same timeline called a Creiger. Same size and platform and 4x4 from the factory. Plus an all fiberglass body.

  2. Your not locked into that weight. Truth is your rear axle in good condition can handle much more. Somewhere on this site John found evidence that the Toyota 8 inch axle could handle up to 4000 lbs but I can't find his post. If you want to do some off road driving with a single wheel in the back you could upgrade to 15 inch wheels all around. 2wd Tacomas had 5 lug 15 inch wheels. Maybe junk yard?  Little more clearance and also more stability. When you're ready I can find you the tires.

  3. The foolie is not rated to any weight. It can fail on a regular truck. Less pressure in the outer wheel helps but a bumpy road can put the stress right back on the bearings.

A single wheel will be fine for you. Wider will give more stability but I recommend adding a stabilizer bar too. Also recommend you get the axle serviced with new bearings to make sure your not already driving on damaged ones

  4. If you watch the video of dismantling it you can see that a battery screw driver will not give you the correct access to all the hidden bolts and screws. Smaller rachet with multiple extensions seems to be what he uses and even those are a difficult reach for some of them. I certainly wouldn't want to have to do this job. Is your core leaking or just clogged.

  5. Toyoguy removed his bathroom to replace his floor tnen put it back. You can look him up and message him.

First order of course is removing all the plumbing connections. Toilet threshold, shower drain and sink pipes.

Pretty sure after those are out you will get a better idea of what else might be holding it.

No brackets or feet except for the leveling pieces I see at the front. Metal yardstick slipped underneath will help you find possible attachments

  6. First 2 have been taken from the Toyota camper IO group. You will probably have to join to see them,

Have no newer Sunrader manual but you can see it doesn't have much info anyway.

This person has been selling these CD's for years. Some people have been happy with them. Surorised they haven't upgraded to digital. Who has a CD anymore.

  7. You're talking about running the tires at max pressure. None of us do that, but when needed we have the capacity to blow them up if needed. If you're ride is really harsh you need to look at the suspension. Even so, it's never going to drive like a Cadillac.

Can't really see much of that car but looks like a Mazda rx7 to me
