  1. i found on my rig the dually installer put the rear spring hanger a little too far forward reducing the ability of the spring to extend horizontally when deflecting. this caused a really harsh ride on rough surfaces.  my fix was to add 2 inches to the shackles. really smoothed the ride and gave about 1 inch lift

  2. i had to replace the cooling unit on my dometic fridge. while in there i added a 12v heater element and wired it to a relay that connects it to the truck battery when the truck is running if i have a switch on.

        also someone on here shared how they added cooling fans.   i did the same, and wired them to a thermal switch so they only run when it's really hot.

        it was 100 degrees here, 120 in the coach(forgot to open windows), but the temp in the freezer was 22, 40 in the fridge part.   this is using propane.

    so i run it on shore power, switch to 12v when driving, and go to propane when parked.
