hey are the little chrome pieces in the corners available? i'm missing one

so meter leads on each side of relay. when cranking, voltage should be less than .2v. more means bad relay. ground side. meter leads on starter case and neg terminal of battery. same readings as before, but higher reading indicates resistance in the ground circuit. usually the neg cable or bad connection to engine block

always use the maintainer. these things are not meant to go from dead to full charge

Yes they should match both 24 or both 27's You will need a good smart charger for best results There are but a few flooded cell batteries manufactures in the US (like 3 or 4) so don't let the name fool your decision. I run a camper all most totally self contained with 2 batteries and a home made portable framed 100 watt solar panel that I can elevate and rotate on the ground.
also beware super good deals. often you will find a whimpy battery in agood case(wally world)

doing it with the calculator is time consuming. using the meter directly is easy
-
not likely they would do a good job anyhow. their people come and go alot

if you are wondering about voltage drop in a wire, connect your voltmeter to opposite ends of the wire in question. when current flows(something turned on), the meter will read the voltage dropped in the wire directly. if it shows none, go to a lower setting. (autoranging meters excepted)

my fuse box is behind a regular cabinet door next to the bathroom

our sprint car wings would get torn or holes in them. an aluminum cover piece glued down with silicon and pop rivits was stronger than just aluminum, and held up forever.

i think the siding is so thin you'll melt it away before yo can use the rod. also aluminum solder is very sensitive to dirt, etc.

Ok because it has 6 lugs it does not mean it's a full floating axle. The full floaters had the axle protruding from the center of the wheel with several small bolts holding it in place the big difference is the axle on a full floatier has nothing to do with the holding the vehicle up. My Tacoma has a 6 bolt wheel but not a floating axle.
i agree. see my post above
-
so nissan has always been 6 lug. that doesn't mean you're ok. it needs to have the center come through the wheel. there are some bolts going into the center part. thats where the axle bolts to the hub
-
in 69 i had a nissan(datsun) pu. i put chevy thuck 6 lug wheels on the back to raise the gear ratio for freeway driving. the truck was a 66, so they have always been 6 lug

its 27 x17x17 minus the exhaust. my dolphin has an unused pocket near the rear of the right side

i may be able to get an onan 4k genset emerald plus for $400. is this a good deal and does it have a good rep. thanks, randy

brake lines require double flairs. if you haven't done them, practice a bit before attempting the line you'll use
-
also battery voltage under no load is of no use. what is the voltage when attempting to crank the engine
-
thanks renzo
-
is the voltage reading with nothing turned on, or is it when attempting to start. voltmeter on the battery, turn key to start. what does the meter say. 9.6 volts or lower means charge and retest. if voltage is still under 9.6 , battery is bad
-
i have the origional from my 84 dolphin . it's am fm cassette. you are welcome to it if you pay shipping. it will just plug in to the existing wiring
-
if it's low on refrigerant, it leaks. no sense in filling it if you could
-
a solar panel could be used to keep your batteries charged
