the float drop has to be measured with the carb inverted, weight of float setting drop. not all that important. need to have the needle not fall out. too little float drop and it may starve for fuel.

 for float level, cut a piece of beer box to the level needed, then lay it on the body and it should just touch the float. 

 the way you show is highly inaccurate.  float level affects all circuits in the carb

so i got my front hub setup, but only 2 wheels. any leads on a 3 hole 6 lug dually wheel on the left coast?

you sure are. how far open the valve is does not vary the pressure at no flow

found this....Tried it and it worked! My Sunrader now has six lug front wheels. Bearings for the 5 lug and 6 lug hubs are identical. Pulled the old wheels and hubs and the six lug hubs and 1T calipers bolted right up.

thanks for the read. still no verification that caliper mounts are interchangable. can the bigger mount bolt to the 5 lug spindle?

searched and found tons of info, but looking for diffinitive. answer.  can i swap my 5 lug hubs for 6 lug dually with no other changes i.e. brakes, dust shields etc.  have a set available to me and need to know if i need the other stuff

quick fix/ show problem.   air filter lid off. rev engine to about 2000rpm. slam choke plate closed till engine almost dies. now see if it idles. if so there was junk in the idle circuit. if not could be a vacuum leak

when unplugged the house runs off of the house battery. no inverter,so no ac anywhere.   when plugged in, switching relay energizes by converter output, all dc is now rectified ac, and the battery is disconnected except the charge wire. ac is provided directly from the shore power

in reading about the shore power converter in my 84 dolphin it says there is a pot to adjust charging voltage.   mine is at 16.5v.  it doesn't say where the pot is.  any one know?
