unless your radiator cap is bad, pressure will never get over the cap rating. not cracking radiator
-
if the resistance increases, the gauge reads lower
-
you could experiment with adding resistors to the circuit to get the reading you want
-
temp sender is a thermister. resistance to ground changes with temp. less resistance= higher gauge reading. the sender has to match the gauge

i considered it. $500 to move it to my place. has no ac. isaac says it started knocking so he shut it off. never looked into why. needs it gone by first part of july. had to do some serious talking to myself to not get it. also it is automatic

craigs list 87 dolphin21 ft bad engine post id: 7630113814
-
i would pull the plugs and check if wet, also crank with plugs connected and laying on manifold to check for spark
-
can you hear the pump run when you turn the key to 'on'
-
if the engine was hot at the time the clutch is bad. to check another way, get a piece of cardboard and cover the radiator front. when it runs it will heat up quickly and you should hear the fan engage when it gets above normal running temp
-
yes , ir gun is the way to check, but im with the others- fan clutch
-
thermostat is not the problem. could easily be a bad new radiator. not unheard of. fan clutch is also suspect. easier to swap out to see

maybe take the old one to a hose shop and ask them to duplicate
-
you got new wheels? old ones 15 new 14. might want to look at axle to spring mounting. axle could be out of place on the spring. sometimes happens when hitting a curb or some such
-
fred it looks similar, but different.

depends on what tools you have. i would use a cut off tool to remove the weld, then slit the muffler tube to get it off the tube you want to save
