  1. the tire shop recommended these. yes i know... i found this site only after i have purchased the Dolphin 1984. i also have another question: how to measure pressure or pump the tires on the inner tires on these (fake) duallys ? look at my rims are also two different kind. valve pointing inwards on one of the outer tires too
  2. yokohama LT195/75 R14 is what i was recommended. SIZE: 185R14 (195 is also acceptible providing they meet the other load and sidewall requirements) LOAD RANGE: "C" or "D" Light Truck (LT) tires. MAXIMUM LOAD RATING: 1500-1700 lbs +
  3. would taking off the extra wheel solve the issue (perhaps on account of stability), as long as the tires are the proper type ?
  4. thank you for the replies. i just bought 6 brand new tires also. heavy duty ones. i think yokohama light truck or something like that. i will look in the morning. would i be better off taking off the extra wheel? wouldn’t the stability be compromised much ? and yes, the Darien gap between Panama and Colombia ?
  5. we will try not to overload and drive slow. i cant afford a new axle with all the goods right now.
  6. hi, i just bought a 1984 toyota dolphin with the dreaded and recalled five nut setup. should i be worried? am about to embark on a south america trip from the US.
