2toyRandy Posted December 2, 2020 Curious how practical this setup is... Is there enough power in that truck to practically drag that trailer and actually use it for its intended purpose? I love the thing! Quote
5thWheel Posted December 2, 2020 IT IS FOR SALE! - http://www.toyotarvforsale.com/1981-sunrader-5th-wheel-combo-210rd-in-houston-tx/ - It's practical for 1981, when the national speed limit was 55MPH. I have towed it around here (Texas), and over rolling hills you lose 10 to 15 mph. It will do 65mph all day long with the pedal to the floor. Yep, doing the math, it goes down to 50mph topping a hill, then gets up to 70 downhill. It is stable and tows well, even at that speed! I also have a Ford F350 towing a 37ft 5th wheel, and while I prefer it for camping with the wife and a dog, I still love the Sunrader for simple weekend events. Quote
