When you buy the Doug Thorley Tri-Y Ceramic Coated Header, it will not come with this accessory pipe. Depending on your truck, you may or may not need this part. It depends on where the torsion bar is located in relationship to the header. In my case, the header exited behind the torsion bar and there is no way to connect up the exhaust system going straight back. This accessory pipe routes the exhaust around the torsion bar, so the exhaust could be connected up to the stock exhaust system. For your application, the pipe supplied might just work fine.
