Lowered CAT.jpg

Allen

Unfortunately, the catalytic converter was not an original type, so I could not bolt up the header accessory pipe to it. In addition, the accessory pipe was physical lower than the rest of the exhaust system. I ended up buying a flange from LC Engineering (http://www.toyotacatalog.net/M1WebGear/ProductDetails.aspx?PartUniqueID=DC29DDE4-14D3-43C6-AE61-7F26FB08191C).

I had Pat at World Muffler weld on the flange to the catalytic converter, and lower the catalytic to connect it up with the rest of the exhaust system. I later had him install a new muffler and tailpipe. He does great work! http://www.worldmufflers.com/ So if you are in the S.F. Bay area, you might want to consider him. Note: The Sunrader just fit on his lift.
