  1. Is it likely that the coil could suddenly die? I have no spark out of it. Any other ideas-anybody?
  2. Found info on my converter online. It has the progressive battery charger but no 30 amp brkr. My house battery was actually only 10.6 volts, so im charging it. I now have bigger issues. I went to start the 3.0 & it fired & died. Now it wont start!
  3. Just checked house battery with VOM & have 12.9V with one leg removed from post. I expected the battery to be dead. I'm confused.
  4. My house battery must be dead because I cant get the frig to run on gas. Also, the battery charger light is not on. Everything works with shore power. Now in utah camping, but would like to fix before going home. All ideas are appreciated.
  5. Just had a very bad experience with a new B&S engine after using a 10% ethanol fuel which was 2-3 months old. Intake valve seized after only 4-6 hrs of operation. So, what concerns does the forum members have with using ethanol fuels? My 90 odd has sat for over 6 months.
  6. UPDATE: You guys are my heroes! I jump started '90' just now. All is well and much thanks again. Jack
  7. To all the responders: thanks for the input. The battery voltage was 13,7 after charging. It just seems odd that the starter solenoid is not even clicking when trying to start the engine I will try to jump start and report back. jack
  8. I routinely start our odyssey every 3-4 weeks & move it a few feet to rotate the tires. Yesterday, it did not start. Not only did it not start, it didn't even turn over. Not even a clicking solenoid! The only sound came from the ECM on the right hand side panel. Also, I noticed the check engine icon was lit on the dash. I checked battery voltage, a bit low at 12.3 Volts, so I put a charger on & tried after a full charge. Same result. Could this be a short to ground? I noticed that the radio was resetting after each attemt to start & the battery voltage was also lower. Any help from the gearhead gallery is appreciated.
  9. just drove 400+ miles from calif to Brenda, az. Found grease streaks on one side of dually rim.How concerned should I be & how hard to fix?

Very concerned. Loose your rear end{HA} if you don't get it repaired. Is an axle seal leaking and will run the rear end dry. Any decent shop can fix, would expect around 3 hundred. Part is cheap, all labor.

I just had the same problem with my Warrior. Cost was about 250$. Easy fix mostly labor. Good thing was I found out that I had air bags underneath that were not inflated of suspension so they took care of that.

  10. Baha-your close on the date. It was o/a jan 20, 1962. I was in basic training at fort ord(monterey). It was 17 degrees on bivoac!.Thanks for the memories.
  11. Hello to all toyota RVers! I just located the original supplier of air bags for our 1990 Odyssey. Since I have been immensely assisted by various scribes on this forum I want to provide this info. The company is 3 Ts & is located in Lake Havasu, Az. They have a website so just google 3 Ts The kits are reasonable in my opinion, $115. each or both sides for under $220. They most likely have kits for other makes also. Good luck in your hunt.
  12. Thanks to all for your valueble help. I found original Bargman clearance lights at a local RV store. Our 89 Odyssey is shaping up!
  13. I understand that part; but I don't know what to do with my dual chassis wires which fed the old two wire light. Are the old two wire clearance lights still available?
