There is something like I have.

Through this project, I've come to appreciate carpentry.  Like most of my generation, I did some in high school and with my Dad.  But this harkens back to the old days where things were most often a one-off item.  Nothing in the Sunrader is square, vertical, level or straight.  If you see a piece in my photos that looks like it's an ordinary square, rest assured it is not.  I'm confident there is not a single piece or panel that has four 90 degree corners. It has all been shaped by eye and by feel and challenged me every step of the way.  That's pretty cool you have something made by your grandfather's hands.  What's interesting is much of that gun rack may not even have glue?

Andrew - do you have a link for a suggested adapter?  I'd be curious to take a look in case I think I'll need such a tool.
