Toyota's 3.4 (5VZ-FE) has also been done a few times here, I believe, and is considered a very good swap for the 3VZE. (Would like to do this myself sometime!)

Up grade, simple😏 change rear axle ratio to 4.88.  The 3.0L  3VZ v-6 Exhaust crossover delete kit works wonders

First off, what year is your motorhome.

All Toyota motorhomes are basically a Toyota cab and chassis with a coach body attached. There are some unique features used for motorhomes. Your rear axle should be a full float model with 6 lug wheels. Anything after 1986 will be full float. Earlier models used a 5 lug rear axle which are now unsafe and shouldn’t be used.

As a mechanic, everything is the same as on a truck.
