escapist
Hey there, searched all over couldn't find an answer to this, I find that I never really use my plumming, sometimes just the sink for dishes, my question, is it OK to leave the tanks clean and empty, or do I always have to keep some water insde? Thanks again for the help!
Derek up North
Not a bad idea to keep the seals in the dump valves 'exercised' by operating occasionally. Have also ready some advocating adding a cup or so of vegetable oil to keep seals lubricated.
Bob C
I have not used the waste tanks on my RV either. We have never used the toilet, the sink or the shower. We like the idea that if we need the toilet in an "emergency" it is available. I don't think there is any problem with keeping them empty.
