Thin Lizzy
Finally got the Toy out for a trip, working full time puts a damper on the play time. Took the junior campers, granddaughters 5, 7 & 9 years old along. Went up over the Cascades and did 4 nights at Lake Billy Chinook and 4 nights along the Deschutes River. Averaged about 13 MPG. Stayed at the state campgrounds, the kids like the junior ranger programs. Walking distance at both places to the water, hate having to unhook to drive somewhere when we get settled in. Stopped at the High Desert Museum just south of Bend, well worth a visit. Was able to drive to the top of Lave Butte and walk around the caldera, vehicles over 22 feet prohibited, so at 21 ft we sailed right up. wanderso
Nice. Enjoying our 91 Warrior around Oregon on several trips this summer. Love how it can go to many places larger rigs can't.
