I'm a newbie who uncovered the head gasket issues that some of the V6 (3.0L) have faced. I'm curious how common this problem is for others and how many miles were on the rig before they did the repair. I have one with 50k miles on the engine that is new to me that has not yet had the head gasket replaced but I also have not performed a compression test.
