Thinking about painting inside paneling...

Howdy y'all. I'm always trying to think of ways to make my dolphin look better and my inside paneling is looking a bit rough. Kind of yellowing where it should be white and after many roof leaks the paneling is starting to crack in places. I thought I might put a nice thick coat of KILZ on it and then paint it a soothing, very light green color. Anything I should know before I do this?

thanks and greetings from the lone star state!

Sounds like what I and others have done. Take a look at this topic.

I wasn't overly concerned about getting all the original wallpaper off, Just get the loose stuff off.

ALSO - in the "If I had it to do over again" catagory, I would probably blue tape the little vinyl trim stuff instaed of cutting it off and using RTV to do the trim. The RTV trim solution looks just as good, but its a little more work.
