Derek up North
I use it all the time on FleaBay and transferring money to friends and family. No problems to report.
bufbooth
Yes, Paypal is safe, I have been using it since it first got started (2 to 3 years?). Besides eBay, a lot of other websites are using it and even organizations. Also, you can send and receive money between two paypal members. One recommendation is in addition to connecting your bank account up to it, connect a credit card to it and keep your paypal balance at zero (can transfer balance to your bank account at any time) and when you need to make a payment have the fund come out of your credit card, this will give you more protection against fraud and non-delivery, you just call up the credit card company and have them reverse the payment. Palpay claims they give you the same protection, but you have to jump through a few more loops and recently they were charging a $25 fee to challege/reverse a payment. Dennis... Guest hiinthesky
I have been using PayPal for eBay for 10 years or better and never have had a problem. Bruce
waiter
I've been using PayPay 10 - 12 years. Never had any problems. One Major Caution to you and anyone who uses / plans on using Pay Pal: NEVER - NEVER - NEVER use a PayPal Hyperlink that is provided in any e-mail or from any web site. ( I do use the "Pay Now" on e-bay, but always look at the hyperlinks and Padlock) ALWAYS - enter the PayPal URL into your browser manually, and then check to make sure you have a secure link. Then after PayPal poops up, Verify the "VeriSign" encription (Usually a Locked PadLock icon on your browser) I pass this warning on as I've seen many, many Spoof e-mails and web sites that will attempt to trick you into giving your username/password. My favorite: you'll get an e-mail from what looks like official Pay Pay, Says your account has been frozen and you must re-authenticate to release a recent purchase. You click on the hyperlink (The Hyperlink looks official), The web site looks just like a PayPal web site, You enter your username and password. Your given a message saying thank you, you account has been re-activated. An hour later, you bank account is overdrawn or you get a call from your credit card company that says you card has been overdrawn. Pay Pal will never send anything like this, Neither will any financial institution or bank. Beware. John Mc 88 Dolphin 4 Auto
