doghouse Posted July 22, 2010 Share Posted July 22, 2010 Just picked up a 1990 with 43k. I am a newbie, but it runs great and in good condition. It does not have a roof top AC unit and no generator. I was hoping to get both. Can I fit a portable generator in the outside storage compartment? Anyone ever put a Honda 2000 in there or any of those portable type gernators? What is the best AC unit for the top. Best price etc. Any tips on the install? The roof is in decent shape. The guy who owned it before me had coated the top with a white rubber type paint. Looks like it could use another coat. What products do you recommend for a roll/paint on rubber type application. Anyone use a pool paint resistant to clorine? Rubber Roofing paint? Other 1990 Odysseys that I have seen (two others) also had the aluminum roof, are you sure you have a rubber roof?
