93 Warrior water pump replacement

Recommended Posts

My water pump behind the couch has decided to quit working.  I replaced some of the water lines a couple of years ago, and I'm pretty sure I'll have to completely remove the couch to get to the water pump.  It's just too far to reach when the couch is half folded.  Has anyone else done this?

Yes, I just replaced my pump about 6 months ago. You are correct; the couch will need to come out. Hardest part is the weight of the couch. It is heavy! There are 4 screws that will need to come out. These can be accessed by unfolding the couch about half way. You'll need something to prop it up in this position while you take the screws out. It is best if you take the couch all the way out of the camper; you will need someone to help you. I had no help, so once I removed the screws, I tilted the couch forward as far as I could and then climbed over it at one end to access the pump. It was a pain, but it worked.
