Howdy,my name is Rick,I'm new to this site and am hoping someone out there can help me.I just bought a 1984 toyota odyssey, the main entry door latch is shot and missing most pieces.I don't want to put a latch and padlock on it,but am not having any luck figuring out where to get one.I was looking on this site for after market parts or used.can anyone steer me to the right place.

Thanks ahead of time for any help!!!

Howdy, just a update on my search for a new door lock. I got it pulled out, locksmith says it's toast. It is 5 and 3/4 inches high and 4 inches wide, brand name Keyler. I've called every major salvage yard on the internet,no luck. Guess they don't make them anymore, even after-market. Doe's anybody out there have any ideas.I'm not sure where to go next.

Thanks Rick

Howdy Shoprat, guess you and I are thinking along the same lines. I went up today during my lunch hour and measured a Bargman L-300. It's a little big,but with some cutting and tinkering, I could make it work. Better to big than to small I think, plus parts are easy to get.

I'm thinking of a whole door also, but i think it also would be hard to find. This one needs rebuilt soooooooo. Problem there is freight if I could find one. I'm in Montana winter coming so guess I'll wait on the Bargman and keep hunting for the right size Keyler or a used door.

Thanks again Shoprat for your input and any other idea's.
