patchman Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 hay im new as well and found an 83 dolphin for really cheap....only has 49000 miles on it. but it needs a new side camper door and the glass is broken on the cealing vents and the back window. are those parts expensive? easy to find? please help!!! johnnyonthespot Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 welcome to the group! i also have an 83 dolphin.... i had some cracks in my vents when i got mine and i just temporarily sealed them up.... you have come to the right place... somebody on here will lead you to what you need... ps great score on the dolphin mine had 105k miles and it still runs like a TOP. The roof vent covers can be replaced for anywhere between $10 and $20 depending on where you look. I am assuming that you are talking about the 14x14 vents (larger covers cost a little more). If this is not what you are talking about please explain what is broken. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/rv-vent...r%20Replacement The window glass can be replaced by any auto glass company as it needs to be safety glass, same as your door windows and windshield.
