  1. If someone want to come and get this storage pod... Reckon I can part with it for three hundered, o.b.o.
  2. Thank you WME, for the prompt reply. Where might i find this 'isolator'? 1986 Sunrader, 210-RD Anyone having any pictures of isolator.
  3. Fixing to head out on first lengthy trip. How am i to know if my coach battery is charged by alternator while driving? If it does, is that to say that it will also run fridge on 12V setting while driving? Is there some device or hardware that i can put an eye on to confirm?
  4. Turns out the aforementioned blue "overdrive" light is simple an illumination light. It is on when the lights are on. Directly next to it, to the right, is the Orange OFF light. Pardon.
  5. Reckon i do not want to part with it for less than 4, as it adds to resale, and is also quite useful.
  6. Reinforcing hitch and frame to confidently carry a 200lb scooter on the back of 21' Sunrader. The distance the receiver must jut out in order to clear the storage box does lend quite a bit of leverage being applied to hitch by bouncing scooter and carrier. Considering eliminating rear bumper, reinforcing hitch similar to what another member successfully did, and possibly to raise receiver 3" to 7". That's the idea anyway.
  7. Considering letting go of my storage pod in order to redesign back bumper and hitch. Willing to accept bids starting at 400 plus shipping costs. Thoughts?
  8. From a 21' rear dinette Toyota Sunrader with less than 40k. Very clean. Great original fabric. All zppers fully functional. Exclellent condition!
  9. Here are a couple of pics showing material type and color. All four are clean and in excellent condition.
  10. Linda S does bring up a factor worth considering. Sweetleon, i did receive your message. Unsure as to what compatibility with an 18' Sunrader. These cushions are out of my 1986 21' Toyota Sunrader (rear dinette) w/ just shy of 39k. And yes, these appear to be the "pin dot velour" Linda S made mention of. Very clean. Excellent condition. Fair price.
  11. Have a complete set of four Cushion Covers that have come out of Sunrader. These are clean and in working order. Fabric is in excellent condition. Light Blue in color. 100 plus shipping. Sunrader only has 39k on it. These Cushion Covers rarely saw any actual use. Was waiting to see if I wanted to reuse them before offering these to others. Converting rear dinette into office/desk space.
  12. Linda, the overdrive "on" light is blue in color and sits directly at the left of the overdrive "off" light which is red/orange in color. Both are same size square. When first purchased last fall, I tested OD on highway. There was no "on" light visible at that time. Did not even know it existed until one day when I tested it again this spring. At that time, the "on" light appeared. On that day, the blue-ish " on" light would not turn off again even as disengaged OD several times. Currently, neither light appears as I push the button in and out. What is going on here???
  13. My concern is not so much the strainer... but all the other bolts on the valve body and other things? Already put a wrench on every one of the bolts that are readily visible once pan is removed. Only snugged the i s that would snug. Did i do a 'don't do'?
  14. Is there a built in check valve in these water heaters? Or, will i need to add one (or two?) to this h2o heater? Is there a thread that details check valve placement in potable water system? Thanks again.
  15. Do i need to go back under there, remove pan, loosen, torque, and refit pan? or, will I be able to wait 1000 miles before i drain and refill. Amsoil Signature ATF is not cheap. Yet, far less expensive than a transmission repair. Please advise.
  16. Have an A43D transmission in my 1986 Toyota Sunrader. Heard from someone that while the transmission pan is off that it is prudent to go ahead and snug the accessible bolt on and around the valve body and strainer. Something about helping the transmission to continue running well. My question is whether it not this is sound advise? Recently drained and changed fluid, gasket and strainer. While the pan was off, I did go ahead and snug those up "for good measure". Ought I not have done this? Could this possibly have hurt or hindered anything at all? Also, failed to torque the 5 strainer bolts? Pretty much snugged that up plus a quarter turn or so.
  17. Turned out to be an exhaust manifold gasket leak. Simple fix. Moving along. New belts installed. Now i can hear better what the engine actually sounds like. Sounds like there may be an air leak under the hood. vaccuum line? What else?
  18. My overdrive light has been acting strange. A couple of days ago I was climbing a hill and thought to turn on the overdrive to try it as I have little experience driving this rig. Learning all sorts of things. For the first time ever, I noticed that there isn't a Overdrive ON light right next to the Overdirve Off light. The former being a blue hue, and the latter being a reddish orange. Prior to this last drive, the overdrive OFF light would go on and off if I pushed the button on the shifter arm. Never saw the ON light before. The issue Thant i a man having no worries is that the Overdrive ON light will now not turn off. It stays on regardless of how many times i push the littleness button. Tried turning truck off, and then on again. The Overdrove ON light still stays on. What is going on here? HELP!
  19. Not sure if you are still looking at these forums... Or whether or not you still have that sunrader. If so though, will you mind grabbing a shot of the modification done to the jamb?
  20. Linda, Have you found this door seal in Black?
  21. Exhaust leak? May be. Will need to look a bit deeper. Thanks all. Will let you all know if it does turn out to be a relatively simple and inexpensive exhaust leak.
  22. Okay..l so I finally went ahead and did the valve adjustment. A few of them were a little tight, and two were a touch loose. Nothing seemed way off though. Changed oil afterward... o.e.m. filter, Castrol high mileage 10w30 with a quart of Lucas. Not much of a noticeable difference. Do have one descriptive correction.... it may not be so much a knock... as sounding 'throaty'. again... this sound only happens when in gear and upon acceleration. If I am driving and take my foot off pedal... this noise is not there. Of course, as soon as I step even lightly on the pedal again... the sound returns. Please, any ideas?
