Hello to all; I just bought my first 1983 toyota sunrader 21ft. how much ground clearance shoud it have empty in the rear end bumper to the ground or lowest part of the fiberglass body to the ground ? it has the 1 ton 6 lug floater axel and someone added two half srings to each side in front and behind the axel. nothing on the springs are broke but not alot of curve to the leaf springs!!! can the front end on a 2 wheel drive be raised up to give it alittle more clearance from the A-type frame and the rubber stop bump located there to stop it from bottoming out and hitting the metal upper part of the frame? someone told me that the long bar going from the A-frame to a mount under the seat on the frame is called a "tortion bar" and they said this can be adjusted to raise the front end!!! can this be done or does anyone have other ideas on the front and rear end clearance from the frame or axel to these rubber stops??? the inside needed alittle work, took out carpet and I am putting in vynle flooring, took out old frig and put in a bigger used one 2 way electric and gas,"do I have to hook up the 12 volt wires to make the propane work on the frig. it works great on electric! what should the inside height from the floor to the ceiling be in the walking area be? one last ??? I found a cut off 120 volt electrical wire under the rear dinning room seat I trased it and it ends up going up behind the bathroom wall and don't know where it goes after that all electical outlet work but they are on a seperate wire! thanks steve
