  1. I followed your great instructions, but I'm having an electrical problem. When I installed new copper with wire soldered, connected wires and then filled the fresh water tank full of water, the sensor panel would not adjust beyond 1/2 full. And when drained the tank down to 1/4, then to empty, the sensor did not move from 1/2. Any ideas what I did wrong? Is there anything electrical that I need to watch for or is unusual with this type of electrical current?
  2. Can someone post a pic of the backside of a original Dolphin? I have a 1991 model and the rear-end delaminated due to some leakage (possibly around the upper running lights) I have now reconstructed everything and could use a pic especially of the area where the aluminum joins to the fiberglass just above the rear window and also the joint in the fiberglass just below, or at the bottom of the rear window. Thanks

  4. Thanks for the advice. Just want to confirm, are you recommending Butyl rubber tape for my leak on the rear roof/back panel seam? If not, what material would you recommend? My other leak trouble is on the roof at the sidewall. What material(s)are best to use if: I want to take out all old sealants? I just want to " patch " over? Also, the result of that leak is mold inside and I assume some rot in the ";bend" of the cabover? How would approach the mold removal and repair of the corner? Thanks for all the help. PS: I tried to upload pics, but got internal server error message when clicked on "More Reply Options". The pics might help you get the idea, but then again, I'm sure you experienced DIYs have seen many of these leaks. Thanks again</p>
  5. Sorry if this is a repeat topic, but I looked throughout the General Discussion and could not find it mentioned. I am facing several areas in which to repair leaks and have been reading and searching for best "how to"s. In doing so, I have come across EternaBond Tape. Looks too good to be true. It's easy to apply, bonds very well, and lasts a long time......Has anyone used this on their Toyota? What were your results? My most challenging fix is the seam at the top rear of the RV. One review of the tape on Amazon slammed EternaBond for only working on flat surfacing. Anyone have any experience or advice to share?
  6. I am looking at several leaking repairs and have been reading all the posts and the web for ideas. Has anyone used the EternaBond tape product? If so, what has your experience been? They make it sound too good to be true? That always makes me skeptical.
