That's my write up you posted! It was super sturdy and I drove about 11,000 miles on that setup with my 290 pound bike on the back with no issues.
-
Does it feel like it's running normal?
-
Might also not hurt to replace your rear wheels bearings and see what shape they're in!
-
The wood that those screws would go into is probably rotted out?
-
Have you gotten in contact with any of the JDM importers here in the US? Yotaimports.com is one of the first ones that comes to mind!

I don’t think that’s Derek’s build but here’s another one for your consideration!

Happy easter to everyone and I hope everyone isn't going too crazy self isolating! I had time on my hands sitting at home to clean up the propane tank!
It was looking pretty nasty, definitely too nasty to put back into the Toyota with how pretty the truck is gonna be!
Many hours of sanding later, not to mention a 6 foot breaker bar to get the valve removed. Also cleaning the interior of the tank and purging residual gas out before I started grinding on it near the openings.
It cleaned up pretty dang well considering! New decals and valves are on the way, hopefully it passes inspection after I take it in to get re-certified!
Also starting work on the overcab bed platform. It seemed like a good opportunity to design some under bed storage compartments, something that has always seemed really useful. The one piece mattress will lift on a sheet of plywood with the assistance of some gas struts to do the lifting, giving access to storage compartments.
We had also started getting lights installed in the rear. We will have the rear section lights on a switch with dimmer, the bathroom lights on a dimmer switch, under cabinet lights on a dimmer, and the bed area on a dimmer as well. They're obviously all LED! Also still trying to decide what I want to use for final ceiling panels.

Now that’s a sweet little rig!

Looks like maybe an overflow line for refrigerator pan or something?

Looks beautiful. I hate it when people get rid of bathrooms. The need for a bathroom when traveling is what got me started with motorhomes. Daughter has IBS and on the road and in campgrounds the bathrooms can be disgusting. Love the cassette toilet too.

Agreed, bathroom is 100% necessary.

Bathroom is near complete! There is still some trim work to do as well as a fan install but that requires the roof to be finished!

Any noticeable drip accumulations under the axle after it sits for a while?

Wow, he did a great job. Can we get a shot of the overall vehicle? It looks super clean.

¿Tienes alguna imagen?

You guys must be in a hurry taking interstates on a Toyota camping trip. I'd never get on the interstate in a yota home unless I had no other choice! Take the back roads, slow down, and have a safe place to pull on the side of the road when stuff breaks! The back roads are the good scenery anyways.

Completed Marmoleum one piece floor installation, it’s nice stuff!
also near complete build of custom dual fuel tank filler compartment with tank switch assembly.
soon to begin completing overcab exterior as well as interior initial layout framing.
-
Did you figure in a new way for shower/bathroom exhaust?
-
These are always fun to diagnose, any idea of the last time the fuel filter was inspected/ replaced? Fuel pump?
also, curious how they failed regarding a compressor install? It’s a pretty straight forward process unless they couldn’t locate the correct compressor type. Maybe they cut a wire on accident or a ground?

Odyssey,
The last 2 pages were not attached to my Owners Manual. That’s the information I was looking for...Thank you 😎
Now,I am trying to get the original layout for under carriage systems and lines/wiring.
Research is never ending 🙏
To think I uploaded that like 7 years ago, time is flying! Glad people are still finding use of it.

Your tag on the inside of the drivers door will have the weight.

Just a friendly suggestion: I’ve done a lot of peel-n-stick floors, with many good results, but I would never do it again for an RV: wide temp changes cause that stuff to lift, buckle, and spread apart. Vinyl sheet or click-lock plank would be my preference, in hindsight.
Agreed, I just ordered a one piece marmoleum sheet for my project. It ships 79" inches wide and whatever length you need.

Wow this sucker might just do the trick. It looks identical to what's currently on the truck. I really appreciate your help! And everyone else's help. I will probably buy this and give it a go!!!!
I do a LOT of buying and selling on Ebay. Know that since he listed it as "new" this guarantees it should be fully working and functional. If you get it installed and something is up with it you will be covered by Ebays buyer protection program and good for a full return.

Start tracing 12V from your running truck's battery through the isolator to fuse block and see where the power stops
