Please remember I'm new to the RV thing.
How are you all plugging your laptop into the DC? My outlets don't work unless I'm plugged into an electrical source.
By the way this would be a good thread on it's own.

I would be a member of this "club". On 11/5/2012 I went from a 2 bedroom, 1 bath duplex into my 21' Sunrader. It has been interesting trying to downsize and get all my gear to fit, but I actually enjoy the smaller space since I find it more manageable. Since I work from home (now the RV) there are some issues with carrying my product and office supplies, but I’m finding that as I live in this space I’m able to fine tune things. Anyone out there carrying their office (computer, printer, product, shipping supplies with them? I would be interested in how you have your “office” and storage set up.

I found this gennie on craiglist. http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/boa/3434352813.html The owner just took it to a dealer and found out that it needs a circuit board that costs about $125. Any thoughts?

Derek up North - Thank you for the link that is very helpful!
exact same unit here but 84 and no wheel covers...wow those things make a difference!
The previous owner purchased those. He said they are just some cheap covers he found somewhere. I agree, they do give the RV a clean look.
does it have a full floater, 83SunRader? can't tell from pictures.
Are you talking about the rear axle? If so, the previous owner replaced the old axle with a 1 ton, dual wheel, 6 lug axle. He also installed heavy duty shocks, extra springs and 2 air bags over the rear axle. This really helps to eliminate the "boat ride" feel when driving.

Hey Totem what was the title of your post? I can't find it. Thanks

i planned to and still will get clear.com
as soon as I can actually power my laptop long enough to make it worth it. I have a way easier time finding wifi that I do finding free ac electricity at this point in time and space in the urban jungle.
Hahaha - I'm having that problem as well. Do not have a gennie yet so if I'm not connected to electric in some form I have about 2.5 hours of computer time and I work on the internet so that isn't much time. I'm presently looking into getting a generator (See my post Looking for a GOOD low price generator).

I thought I had read a thread about this already, but I couldn't find it again so sorry if this has already been discussed.
I'm looking for a good, low priced generator. It appears that I will need at least a 3000w to run the AC and a couple of other things at the same time. I know everyone really likes the Honda's and Yamaha's, but honestly at this time I can't afford the price. Something around $500 - $800 would be great.
Is it possible to get a cheap generator and put an after market muffler on it to quite it downGood?
Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

I have been using Clear for about 2 months now. When it works it is an excellent and economical internet solution for not only your phone, but you can also use it for a tablet or laptop (I use a laptop) with it. WHEN IT WORKS is the problem. At this time coverage is extremely spotty, mostly urban areas only. http://www.clear.com/plans/mobile/?intcmp=home:t1-a:plans-mobile
You can also buy the router system that can provide wifi to up to 8 other devices.

I recently purchased this little beauty. A 1983 21' Sunrader with 22R, 4 speed manual transmission. The interior and exterior are in very good to excellent condition considering she's 29 years old. I will add some more photographs in the next few days. I'm downsizing from a house and still trying to get all my gear to fit, so any interior pictures would be stacked boxes.
I'm a newbie so any advice is always welcome. Anyone with a similar RV please email or friend me.
