Hello fellow motorhomers! Im quite new to this site and this may have been answered already, so forgive the "newb" in me!
I have a 1984 sunrader.
Im having trouble charging my coach battery (if thats what its called, "the aux battery" that powers the back of the house)
I had her plugged in to 110 for a couple days to ensure I would have a fully charged battery for my latest camping trip.
As soon as I unplugged her there was about 30 seconds of light before the battery died. I went to a car parts store and bought a nice new battery. The guy at the parts store was friendly enough to come outside and hook a tester up to the battery while the vehicle was off, then again after I started her. We were looking for a change in voltage? Anyways, there was none..
So, it looks like I might not be able to charge either way, not through running the truck nor through plugging her in.. Im not very electrically savvy but is there some simple part to replace that would distribute power to my battery from both sources that may have gone bad?
This is one of a few other problems I will be addressing before winter hits.
Thanks in advance!
Andre.
