I'm wondering if anyone has experience with converting a rooftop ac unit to a fan-tastic like fan to gain weight and drag advantage? I'm working on an 84 sunrader with 22r. Any thoughts on this idea will be appreciated. Thank you,

I'm working on an 84 Sunrader 22r with 110000 miles. It has some carburetor problems, I'm considering a Weber 38 conversion thinking this might perform better at higher altitudes. I travel mostly in the inter-mountain west where the roads have long steep grades. Any experiences or opinions concerning this idea or rebuilding the stock carburetor would be greatly appreciated. thank you

I have an 84 Sunrader with 22r and 4speed that is geared high in 1st gear.Does anyone have experience with lowering 1st.gear ratio?
