  1. Your battery should be at the rear of your rader behing your storage pod. Flip the pod down and you'll see an access door, That's where your battery will be.
  2. I lost no mpg when I switched to 4.88 gears, but I have a V6 auto. I don't know if the 22r is the same. I would recommend the 4.88's. It does make a big improvement in driveability.
  3. Lee, I just today got a quote from my local trusted mechanic/shop for a timing belt, pulleys, and water pump replacement and it came to about $680 total. This was for my 1990 sunrader V6. Hope this helps. Darrell
  4. Darrell and Niki here, This is "Agnes" she is a 1990 Sunrader that my folks gave me. They had it for over 10 years and it has traveled the us. This is the 2nd Sunrader I have owned. It is the rear bath model. One cool thing that's been done to it is a gear change to 4.88's. This and a free flowing exhaust really make this drive really nice. She is located on the Key Peninsula in Washington state.
  5. I'll have to get a hold of my folks to see if they have pics. I doubt they would have any digital pics though. Next time "Agnes" is up in the air I'll get you some pics. Thanks
  6. I just recieved a 21' 1990 Sunrader V6 Auto from my dad. He put 4.88's under it. It did not affect the fuel mileage. I just drove it home 450miles through the mountains of Or and WA and got 15mpg out of it. My dad towed 4ea 4wheelers behind this m/h quite frequently with no issues. So my vote would be for 4.88's. Hope this helps.
