  1. I too have issues with water penetration into the front cap with no clear point of entry. My plan is to reseal side windows with butyl seal. On front window I have to replace the plastic since it's cracked. I don't have access to shop but I know someone in Houston that makes motorcycle windshields & will check if he can make mine. 1.) Ideas on what a shop should charge to make window? Anybobody have a source I could purchase from? 2.) Any specific type/brand on butyl seal? 3.) Where can I get replacement gasket for front window? Winnebego says not vailable....'91 warrior Thanks. Greg
  2. I'm at a RV park that has cable but no speed channel. Would like to get a satellite service for my Toy if I can see Speed Channel. Anybody know if this is avialable? Best equipment for manual stationary set-up? Thanks.
  3. There is a 91 Toy Winnebego Warrior in the for sale section posted with new 8 ply tires. Stock tires are 6 ply. Called the owner who said they were made by Dayton and mounted on stock 14 inch wheels. Googled Dayton tires to locate dealer. Apparently owned by Bridgestone. Firestone dealer says there is no 6 ply or 8 ply available from Bridgestone as far as he knew. Anybody know anything about this? Gettting ready to buy tires & seems 8 ply better than 6 if available. Thanks.
  4. I talked to shop worker at a small trailer manufacturer in Texas about this issue. Said they apply a SMALL consistent in width bead and spread with finger that's been dipped in a solution of water and detergent.
  5. Small impact on left top front of a Warrior that is fiberglass. About 6 inches of damage to side panel and 6 inches to top panel. Area is above cab. Bent metal roof trim which will be replaced. Talked to a boat repair guy and he says he'll remove loose stuff and fill with fiberglass/resin. Then grind, sand, paint. Sound OK? Figure a boat fiberglass guy is better thyan a traditional body or RV shop. Thoughts? Thanks.
  6. I damaged the roof & trim that runs on the edge of the curved front from the drivers door up to the roof & will be replacing. When you remove vinyl insert from the aluminum edge trim I assume you will find screws holding the trim. Should I expect to see these screws with some type of gasketing or other means to seal off body seam from water? I have a water leak on this same side but so far I have been unable to locate. Should I use same screw holes; i.e. match new trim holes to old trim holes? Should I insert silicone into holes before inserting screws? Thanks in advance for any advice.
