  1. Thanks for the advise. My boyfriend guessed the same thing. The way it is wired now I can keep it plugged in year-round with no issues with the coach battery, but the guy took out the 30 amp breaker, and that scares me! I think the WFCO 55 amp 3 stage charging system is where I am headed. K ching K ching....
  2. Wish I could ask Delbert, but he was 79 when we bought it from him 12 years ago. I guess my goal is to just get it back to the way the panel was before and get the lightening rod ignitor installed. I am assuming with a missing breaker I could have a fire if something overheated. But funny, I plug it in to 110 all year round to keep the deep cycle fully charged and never had an issue. I do hear a pulsing/running sound when it is plugged in though.... Thanks
  3. I am trying to have a lightening rod electronic ignitor installed on my gas hot water heater with a switch to ignite the w/h inside the coach when we have 110 hookups. I have a 1991 Toyota Winnebago V6. My repair shop says my electrical panel has some sort of jerryrigged alteration in the panel. I am the second owner. To charge the RV coach battery when plugged in to 110 there is a white switch (up/down) up means 110 charges the coach battery and down means alternator charges the coach battery when traveling. They say this is NOT code, but it looks like it came from the factory that way to me. He said they took out a 30 amp breaker and put in a light switch, what the heck??? They want to do tons of rewiring to be bring it up to code to be able to get the ignitor wired. Is my Toy electrical panel normal or not?????
