This is just with one coat of finish on it. It now has 12 coats and is gorgeous. -

My work in progress to make my Dolphin a rolling palace. You will notice the gray addition on the floor. I had a spot that was a bit rotted and sagging. I couldnt replace the floor due to inaccessibility so I poured a non concrete leveling compound on the floor. As I was screwing a really hard wood over the top of the whole thing, I knew that would tie the entire floor together. I just needed to fill the sag. -

The old shag had to go. I had some Brazilian Cherry flooring left over from building my house so I decided to use that. I started by planing it down to 1/2" from 3/4". I didnt want to add unnecessary weight. The floor is screwed down and counter bored and plugged. The floor went from being soft from age to as solid as a gymnasium floor.© Toyotamotorhome.org
