We did find it was negitive ground, We were not geting a good connection with the cables. After an afternoon of messing with it the old girl busted off. Thank you all for the responces. I suspect that you will be hearing a lot from me in the near future.

I just bought a 75 and a 76 chinook out of a wreciking yard, When I hook jumper cables to the batery cables I get nothing. A friend who is helping me thinks that it could be a positive ground. A wiring digram would be a grate help, where can I find one.
