If it is a 5 lug, is it really neccessary to update it to 6 lug ? I wont be towing anything with this from behind . If its got 60,000 miles on it with the 5 lug, without breaking , then shouldnt it be fairly reliable ? What exactly was the problem with the 5 lug ?

I asked about this same vehicle a few weeks ago, when the seller wanted $4200 , and some of you told me that was way to high of a price. Im just wondering if $3500 is a good deal or not.

I guess it is the 5 lug pattern on the rear. Is there anyway I can tell if it was fixed on the recall when they had problems with the 5 lug setup ?

Im assuming theres no easy way to lengthen or move back the front seat guide rails, to allow more leg room upfront ? The back of the front seats probably hit sometype of wall/ protrusion to where the RV part of the truck begins ? I hate to let this deal slip, because I think I can get the chinook for $900 and it runs good .

I have a chance to buy a 78 chinook in very good shape but im wondering if I will be comfortable in the drivers /passengers side upfront ? How roomy is it in that area?
