  1. Any idea what "Mexico only" means in their description? https://www.pilkingtonclassics.com/shop/specialty-glass/windshields/10913-1972-1978-toyota-pickup-2-door-standard-cab-toyota-hi-lux-pickup-mexico-only-blue-tint Hopefully NOT that it doesn't meet US safety specs?
  2. Looks positively spacious. All things are relative. http://truckyeah.jalopnik.com/this-guy-s-been-living-in-a-three-cylinder-geo-metro-fo-1705793497
  3. Ah, I see. Since you didn't post a link, I didn't realize it was posted on Montreal CL or even that it is/was on CL anywhere. We often see items posted here from the more sparsely populated Northern parts of NY, Vermont & NH. However, CL is not the preferred place to sell 'stuff' in Canada. Kijiji is much more active here (and a flop in the US). http://montreal.en.craigslist.ca/search/rva?query=toyota
  4. Sorry, I don't see 'sourcing' anywhere in my 'job' description. Nor do I see 'giving crap' in yours.
  5. I'm failing to make the 'Canadian' connection.
  6. Now all you have to do is offer them for $395 on the Yahoo Chinook Group and make you money back.
  7. Knowledge is valuable. They knew where to find it, you didn't. Probably from the same source as the even more expensive resellers you found.
  8. You can always check it for leaks in the fully open position with some soapy solution.
  9. You might want to get out more. Loctite makes more than one product. http://www.homelectrical.com/567-pst-thread-sealant-high-temperature.loc-56747.1.html?utm_source=Shopping&utm_medium=CSE&utm_campaign=CSE& "... but what the heck do I know." Good question.
  10. An odd thread in that on page 1 the most commonly suggested sealant is Loctite and suddenly on page 2 everyone is suddenly praising Rectorseal! http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/general/pipe-joint-sealants-144464/
  11. Also, don't lose sight of the fact that most (yours included until recently) worked fine with standard Toyota components. Before you feel the need for a 4-row, aluminum racing radiator.
  12. I'd be curious to see if the 2 gallon larger 4x4 tank would fit a non-4x4. 2 extra gallons would be nice, though probably not nice 'enough' to warrant changing the tank unless you were changing anyway.
  13. Well, why don't you just put a 6' length of pipe on your pipe wrench and solve your leak?
  14. I wonder where you'd buy a tool to torque to 23psi?
  15. Sorry, I forgot to answer your most recent question. If your tool box consists of only a BFH and pipe wrench, you might want to supplement it with a torque wrench and a selection of crow's-foot wrenches.
  16. Since you persist in thinking I know nothing, perhaps you might want to contact these few (of many) and correct and educate them as well. http://www.entegrisfluidhandling.com/Product.aspx?G=1054 http://www.stoneagetools.com/PDF/torque_recommendations_2010.pdf https://www.surpluscenter.com/images/techhelp/NPT.pdf http://www.stoneagetools.com/PDF/Papers/PIPE%20THREADS-WHAT%20IS%20THE%20LIMIT.pdf Hey, YOU'RE the one with leaks using YOUR method. http://cdn.someecards.com/someecards/usercards/1341547887953_9621840.png Credo to live by:- Think twice, post once.
  17. I'm sure that same seller already has a rear dinette model packed in a shipping container ready to send to you. $2104, shipped to your door. I think the only place they won't ship to is Missouri.
  18. Brandon is the easy one (Appalachian/Lincoln/Middlebury/Brandon). I used to do all 4 in a day by bicycle.
  19. Rt 100 South of Warren is very nice with several pull-offs/rest areas. I've no idea if you're allowed to overnight. But if you're relying on solar panels for power, forget Vermont. Too many trees.
  20. Probably this:- http://www.amazon.com/Spectra-Premium-CU1190-Complete-Radiator/dp/B000C7TTS0/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1442112458&sr=1-1&keywords=cu1190
  21. Just a suggestion:- Do NOT try Lincoln Gap.
  22. OK, then solve your problem by giving yourself a hernia. I won't feel your pain from here.
