  1. Is it bent and twisted about 3/8 of an inch on the tip of the dipstick? Was it made that way at the factory?
  2. What does the end of the transmission dipstick look like on your 91's with auto od et and 6 cylinder? Is it twisted and bent from the factory ?? Took it on a short trip with my grandsons and got consistently 13 mpg to and from the lake. Only used cruise. Didn't use od! Is this about right ?
  3. Its got 185 R 14 6 ply and C rated tires on it. So fr I have heard I can get them for 75 to 85 a tire. Front tires are newer. Any advice on rotating them back with 2 new tires in back and then two new tires up front. Please advise! Thanks
  4. I told him I would buy it and we are supposed to conclude the deal Monday when the banks and tag office are open. It only has 16,000 miles on it and shifts smoothly. It has the electronic transmission switch also as well as over drive and cruise. Like new! He bought it new and has most if not all the original user docs. I checked the things you mentioned and seems ok! Thanks
  5. Whats the Electronic Transmission Control? Does hunt mean lug, or downshift ...? How much are booster springs? How hard are they to install? I'm going to look at it tomorrow... and take some pics.. and drive it.....
  6. Yours has "Toy" on it and no other name...? What years were these made and are they unique in any way?
  7. How does it handle in the mountains or pulling a boat or small car ?
  8. I am focusing on a v6 with auto and od. I have read horror stories about valves and od in high country and wondering how much risk really exists. This one has 18000+ miles and seems in good condition. I am also wondering what is worth?
  9. I can't find a reference to a Toy. Anybody have one or know if this is a legitmate model? It has a v6 and auto with OD and 18,000 miles generator and electric awning etc . What should I look for in the way of probs....? Thanks
  10. I was talking to a guy about a 4 cylinder 4 speed manual and he said it would go 35 miles an hour up a steep incline. Is that reasonable for a sound ie healthy motor going up a mountain? What would a 6 cylinder auto do? Are all automatics overdrive? I want to camp in the Rockys mountain and need alow maintenance low cost RV with a toilet, hot shower, and bed and possibly a generator!
