  7. well hello all, my toyota ran great, i drove between 60 and 70 miles per hour, averaging 14 to 16 miles to the gallon. the coach was super comfortable for my wife and i, youngest daughter and my 2 dogs.the fridge operated extremely efficiently on the gas setting, oven and stove worked great for all our meals.the heater would be turned on for maybe 30 minutes in the am and we got toasty... as some of you might know i recently cleaned up all the old caulking and had the entire rv painted. went with a carbon grey semi metalic paint by dupont. i must admit when i saw the color 1st being shot on at the shop, i thought the color was ok, but after it was all said and done : i love it! many compliment on our journey through southern arizona and mexico. here are a couple of photos, please let me know what you all think... untill the next time, beach bum.

  10. beach bum again, i am also thinking about putting a trailor hitch for the sole purpose of mounting a cargo carrier to the receiver, hence extra cargo space, a guy i met at phoenix rv told me that it was a bad idea, it would cost a lot of $ to mount a reicever hitch and it would not be secure enough. i dont understand? he said it would bounce all over.true or not true? i need the extra cargo space for all my boards and kites, i am a kite surfer and travel often down into mexico. please advise, thanks again. beach bum.
  11. hello beach bum here, just purchsaed a sweet 1990 dolphin, wondering if i have it proffessionaly painted will it devaluate the value. also my reason for painting is that the exterior is very sun faded and the fiberglass fibers are starting to show threw the gel coat, so i presume that a couple coats of sealer + 3 coats of paint should help. please let me know... beach bum.
