  1. I have a one ton full floater for sale, no wheels or springs but otherwise complete. Bought to put under my Mirage but found another complete with springs and wheels. Price is $500 firm - which is what I paid for it before bringing it back from Spokane. I am located near Buckley, WA about 25 miles east of Tacoma. I'll try and post pictures but can send them via direct email. Also have cabinet doors, drawers and other misc. interior parts from a 1987 Odyssey I am parting.
  2. The dimesions of the front spindel on the 84-93 2WD truck are the same, so you can swap out the rotor, brake calipre and 6 bolt hub from a one ton onto your 1/2 ton front end. Make sure and get the backing/dust plate as well, as it is made to clear the much larger one ton brake calipres. It is a fairly straight forward bolt-on conversion which I have done to my 86 Nova Star and my 84 Mirage. Why mess with adapters (which might cost more than the entire used one ton assemblies) when this gives you much larger front brakes? I paid $150 for the front assemblies from a local wrecking yard and all the parts were servicable.
  3. For your front wheel conversion, the spindle shaft is the same 84-93, even though the spindle assy is not, per the interchange manuals. These years use the same oil seal and bearings. Any six lug hub/rotor/calipre assy should bolt right one. Thats what I used on my 84 Mirage and 86 Nova Star. Make sure and get the brake backing/dust plate from the one ton donot because your 1/2 plate will not clear the one ton calipre. This gives you much larger front brakes and finding factory 5 to 6 adapters is pretty difficult.
  4. The spindle shaft is the same dimension 84-93, even though the spindle assy will not interchange through those years per the parts interchange manuals. What I did was use a 6 lug one ton hub, rotor and calipre and it was a simple bolt on conversion. I did this to my 86 Nova Star and my 84 Mirage. I could never find any 5 to 6 adapters and why mess with adapters anyway? Using the factory one ton assy gives you much larger front brakes. Make sure to get the one ton dust shield/backing plate as the 1/2 ton will not fit the calipre w/o cutting it.
