  1. 25mgp is not in the formula at all by any of toyota Rv's. You're lucky to get 15 maybe going down hill. I avg 12.5 and downhill at 15. Without using brakes. I am a light weight traveler and using my rig loaded or empty it seldom will exceed what I claimed. If you go shopping for those high mpg rigs, better believe a crook is probably selling the rig. Honest joes, wouldn't claim such a sale of 25mpg.
  2. Hmmm! Thanks Shanda, I might consider caulking in the Plexi. Cannot hurt a try as of course this window doesn't move otherwise. The little trough usually just gathers dusts and dead bugs anyway as they try to bust out the window that doesn't move. If that works I'll let you know. I still don't have idea how that water comes in. I been blotting it up between heavy rains every other day. SOme days its accumulations are high other days it is low.It only spilled onto the bed area once but not heavily. Sure wish I had a roof shed to shelter this.
  3. In my newer RV in the overhead front window above cab, I have developed a small leak. Just sitting the little inside tray or trough fills up. I have to blot the water away inside before it overflows and goes down the wall area. I caulked the outside of entire window and this water still shows up and I don't see where it comes into the tray. Entire window itself is free of any water drips. Anyone got any ideas on that? Paper towel sheets is my blotter about every 2nd day or so in heavy rains. I just don't see any leaks for the water to be coming inside that window. My bed on top will be nice and wet eventually if I don't stop it.
  4. I had found a hole under the rig that looked like culprit buried into the frame . Using some rubber sheeting material I stuffed the hole best I could . Enough to slow any water from going up into the closet. It already had spread up the sidewall in a water stain. Caulked the area underneath and I didn't have any more problem. I sold the rig to neighbor, warning him to watch the area. He reports no problems and I live in rainy section of U.S. I caught it in time from total ruining the carpet in the closet. At least the top of the carpet.
  5. It's a drain hole. Closet is suppose to leak in rain. Water has to go somewhere and seek its own level in doing so. The level is the floor of the closet. Once the water soaks the entire floor of closet it will rot away all the wood and you will have a huge hole probably around the rear tire area, so the tire can spray more water thru the opening into the closet area. Cannot think of any other reason why you would have a hole in the closet.
  6. No one replied to this old post done in Oct of 08. Well, how about any rallies in Arizona for 2010 in Jan or Feb. If there is any, someone publish it so we all can meet in sunny Az.
  7. I don't see to much action on this idea. Maybe we need some more ideas or possible meeting places. I say that because maybe many people don't live near enough to the proposed area, and maybe there is more people from other areas with ideas. Sounds like a good idea if we could get a few people interested.
