I just bought an '87 Dolphin & know nothing about RV's in general or this one in particular. The generator fires up and runs fine but I have no 110 power in the coach. The fridge & Micro don't work and I even tried plugging in a clock & nothing. Is there a switch/fuse/connection that I should be looking at to get the 110 power in the coach? To compound problems I don't have access to the outside panels and have to have them re-keyed. Oh, and one last item. It's a 4 cyl 22RE auto & the overdrive doesn't work. Any ideas or common causes? (the light doesn't come on & it doesn't engage). I appreciate all your help & am really grateful for this forum!

Cool, thanks for the info, mycomitan. How much did it cost (including parts)? I assume that your '87 Dolphin has a 4 cyl 22re engine, correct? Does it have enough power to utilize 5th gear much? Thanks

Ok, thanks for the info. I just picked up a 4 cyl auto & I'm thinking of putting a 5 speed in it. I think that it would have some of the same trouble as the diesel not being able to utilize the 5th gear so I would also being doing some engine mods to try & up the torque & HP a bit.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has put a toyota 5 speed trans (SR5 I believe) in their rig to replace an auto or manual 4 speed in either their 4 or 6 cyl Toy Home? If so, how hard was it? Did it cost alot? And please give details about the performance. Thanks!
