  1. I got my 92 for just over 3,000.In another discussion I was a little harsh when I said ''Some people are crazy for what they are asking'' Im just spoiled because I got mine so cheap. There is a bluebook value on these old motorhomes. but to be honest with you if every Toyota motorhome was 15,000 knowing what I know now I would still buy one. They are great and I wouldnt trade mine for anything. So they are worth what you can afford and are willing to pay for it.Take care and good luck.
  2. Here in Tx at the rest stops you can dump for free and also at camping world.Do you have either on your route.Or maybe at the house if you have a cap on your sewage pipe going to the city they are just like the ones at RV parks, just unscrew the cap put your hose in and drain it.
  3. It looks cool! What are you going to trim the ceiling with?Do you know what your total height is going to be after the AC is on?
  4. Here's a fixer upper thats not too bad.late 70's early 80's 4cyl. stan. everything works, runs good, it does have a 5 lug that should be replaced for a 6.and needs a paint job,but for 2,000 you will have enough money to fix her up.I found it today in a little town outside of Delrio Tx.Nice old man named Roy call him at (830)-278-6459 day-(830)278-7972 night if you know anyone looking.
  5. Check out this old Toyota RV for sale,$400, and you think yours needs alot of work! sale-641299214@craigslist.org on Austin,Tx craigslist.
  6. It's been a while since your post,I just read it.I dont know the if you still need help but if you do or maybe someone else does, here is what I have.My seatbelts are mounted to the frame under the dinning seats with bolts. From the factory. The belts come up through the wood then lap over the seats. Its the same on both sides. As far as being legal,it is on mine im sure it will be for yours to.If your cab is open to the rear of your RV it is legal, just like riding in the back of a van.Good luck.
  7. I recently bought 6 new tires for my 92 warrior, the original were 185R14-LT6 RIM size 14.0X5.00 at 50psi for all 6.The new are the same size, just 8 ply instead of 6.All six tires mounted, balanced, old tire disposal, and road hazard at sears for 474.33 out the door.Tire part #09552214.
  8. Sure, Thanks Greg. And could you delete it from the General Discussion, didnt want to have it in to many places. Thanks,John
  9. Yea man I know, The last 1 I found was sold for $1,600 running, outside of houston at a garage/repair shop.Looked good,It was a 91 dolphin had the normal problems with those types you know roof leaks, but nothing that couldnt be fixed with a little caulking.I think the longer time goes by you will see more & more sold for cheap because some people do not take care of them. There is a blue book on our RV and they are around 6 to 8 grand, but have to be in great shape.
  10. The head gaskets on the 6 were a recall and done for free, mine was done in 98 and I havent had a problem since. Also use a good oil like castrol stay away from penzoil big time sludge. I remember when I got one of my old trucks,a Dodge quad cab, at the time I had a choice of getting a 318ci. or a 390ci.I got the 318,thought it would get better gas mileage,I was wrong.Shortly after I worked with a guy with the exact same truck just had the bigger eng.He was getting better gas mileage, the bigger eng didnt have to work as hard to push that big truck down the road.thus used less gas and probably lasted longer.Hey anyway you go your going to have a great time with your toy and get way better gas mileage than one of those monsters. And the water heater is a snap, just go ele. no gas.I got my toy for 3,000 its a 92 warrior 6cyl 1 ton less than 75,000 miles everything worked, look around some people are crazy for what they are asking, since I got mine Ive seen about 3 , 90 or newer models for under 3,000.Shop around and have fun.
  11. I have a Troy Bilt 5550,8550 starting watt generator for sale. 1 year old great shape used once.Too big for my mini. But if you guys know anyone who has one of those monster RVs or need a good unit for the house when the power goes out here it is.You could run 3 minis off of this thing and its not that loud, has a good muffler.10 HP Briggs & Stratton 4- 120 volt & 1-240 volt hook ups.169lbs.Email me john_n_bri yahoo.com and I will send you more pics.Thanks.
  12. I would hold out for a 6cyl. Thats what I have. The 4 is going to have to work harder and thus use more gas.Even the 6 is a little sluggish up hills. Take off 2 cyl. oh boy. forget it.Stick with a 6 cyl. 6 lug.
  13. I would like the ladder, will it fit a warrior.thanks John

  15. I read a post here, and someone used one of those cargo racks bolted to a hitch and mounted a toolbox on it then put a gen. in it. I think im going to try that. Ive got a 5000lb hitch welded to the back and have bolted a rack on the back already. All i need is a small gen.,does anyone know the weight limit for the back of a 92 warrior 21 ft. 1 ton. thanks.
  16. Great idea, I got a big 3 ring binder with my 92 Winn. Warrior. If anyone needs anything from that I will scan it for you.
